It’s Saturday and its been an amazing week. I have had the opportunity to talk with a soon to be doula and offer some encouragement and mentoring. Was asked to be interviewed for a podcast for mommas. not to mention I have had the time to update my instagram, client contract, and other things.
I also found myself wondering if I should plan what I would say in my podcast debut. Truth be told, I don’t need much prep time to talk about what I am passionate about. I love having the opportunity to talk about what I love. And further spreading the word about the benefits of birth and postpartum doulas.
Also, did I mention I did an interview on a podcast. Which frankly, is ridiculously amazing. I never hide the fact that I am passionate about what I do. So talking about it with someone who wanted to know, well that is a great thing. The link below is for the podcast. The sound is a bit odd, but its a good listen! And Blossom to be Fit has an excellent library of things to listen to if you are looking for more to add to your stash.
New things are under development at All Things Doula this week
I have been working for the past 2 weeks on new things. As always there are a variety of things that I do to maintain a doula business. Recently its involved a breastfeeding photo shoot and working on add-on ideas to the services I offer.
This handsome boy played his part during the photo shoot that happened. Isn’t he sweet?
Check out my facebook page: www.facebook.com/allthingsdoulaservices this week to see how you can help me figure out what mommas are looking for during pregnancy. I could use more voices with an opinion.
All Things Doula is my passion! Born out of my love of helping support women and their families as they welcome their babies into this world. A passion for doula work began to take shape almost 7 years ago when I had a doula for my second delivery. It took on a life of its own, and in February of 2011 I did my birth doula training, and continued my path to getting certified. All Things Doula made its debut in April of 2014. As a result, doula work has continued to be an avenue of direction for my passion ever since. And now some change…
As fall fast approaches in 2016, it will start with a big change
All Things Doula is moving!!!
I am so excited by the new adventures that await, and the families I will serve! As of Saturday, September 10th, 2016 All Things Doula: Doula Services will be serving the Richmond, Virginia and surrounding areas.
This doula is very thankful for the many women I have met, and supported over the last few years. Most of all, I can hardly wait to meet all the new, expecting mother in Virginia that I can love and support as well.
