This is a good but hard article to read. We push and push for new moms to get right back into the swing of things. ┬áThat somehow it’s a bad thing to rest, recover, and not invite the entire universe over to our homes. We have it all backwards. If there is EVER a time in your life to rest, sleep, recover, and let your home be your sanctuary…its right after having a baby. It’s so so important for us to take care of those special women in our lives that have just had a baby. As this new year has just begun…let’s find a way to help women get all they need. Support them getting nutritious foods and snacks, lots of sleep, time to relax and take in their baby…most importantly though….give them time to recover. How do we start a movement where “40 days to recover” is the new normal?
