 Birth Doula Support
$1850

Includes prenatal meetings, labor, birth, postpartum, and breastfeeding support. Email, phone, and text support through your birth and postpartum period.

It will include the following:

  • Prenatal Support: Doulas prefers to meet at least twice before labor begins. This allows time to discuss your birth wishes, how they can support you, coping with labor, helping to write a birth plan (if desired), etc. They will also help you prepare ahead of time for your postpartum recovery which is very important to think about this before the time arrives.

  • Labor and Birth Support: S=They will arrive to your designated birthing place whenever you are ready for them.  They will offer informational support during labor and will also help with position changes, relaxation techniques, massage, acupressure and support for your partner. If requested, they will stay up to 2 hours after the birth of your baby to help with breastfeeding.

  • Postpartum Support: They will offer up to 2 weeks of postpartum support via text or phone. They will do an in-home postpartum visit once you are settled in at home. They will assist with recovery, newborn care, and community resources that may be of help.

  •

  • Lactation Support:  Lactation consultant, Rachael will come do an in-home visit at 4 to 5 days post delivery and do a 2-hour comprehensive assessment with a thorough evaluation of breastfeeding: including latch, positioning, milk supply and any concerns or challenges.  ** if you have chosen not to breastfeed, this visit will be to help with formula and bottle-feeding assistance, burping, etc.

 â€‹

*Please note that should your birthing location be outside of a 50 mile radius there will be an increase in fee to accommodate travel time.
